Il poggio del sole' is a typical village house (130 sqm) situated on the hills overlooking the old town of Camaiore. Pedona is located 309 meters above sea level and just a few minutes drive from the center of Lucca and the beautiful sandy beaches of Versilia.The property has a large outdoor terrace where you can enjoy the cool summer evenings in the company of friends and a good glass of wine, as well as relax in the sun or simply enjoy the views of the sea or surrounding hills. The terrace is equipped with a large table for 6/8 people, chairs, deckchairs. On the ground floor there is the open plan living area consisting of a large living room and dining room with fireplace, kitchen equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, 4 burner stove and oven, fridge, crockery and cutlery, glasses and cooking utensils for all occasions. In the living room there is a sofa bed (2 persons), two armchairs and TV. Bathroom with shower wc/bidet and window, small laundry room. On the first floor there is a beautiful and bright double bedroom in old style furnitures with beautiful sea/hills view (the room has three windows, two of them with splendid view), another bedroom with two bunk beds and wardrobe (seaview). Very large bathroom with tub / shower and a window with a spectacular views. Parking at approx. 30m. + another at approx. 500m. From the closer car park a short walk down to the house. ‘Sloped garden of approx. 1000sqm' - Terrace with spectacular views’
Convention with private pool and beach establishment available on request at reasonable prices (not included).

Abbiamo avuto la fortuna di soggiornare in questa splendida casa vacanze e gia' stiamo progettando di ritornarci. La casa ha una posizione da sogno con una terrazza panoramica meravigliosa, abbiamo anche avuto la fortuna di avere un tempo splendido e quindi siamo stati praticamente fuori a goderci il panorama anche durante i pasti, fare colazione vedendo il mare e le colline circostanti e' davvero incredibile e meraviglioso!!!L'immobile era pulitissimo, curato nei dettagli e davvero non manca assolutamente niente. Da Pedona che e' un paesino fantastico abbiamo visitato senza prolemi le citta' toscane vicine e spesso siamo stai a cena al risotrante IL SOGGIORNO dove abbiamo provato specialita' toscane in un clima confidenziale alla mano gustando ottimi piatti a ottimi prezzi, Tutto perfetto compresa la signora che ci ha fatto l'accoglienza, e' sempre stata pronta a darci a ssistenza in caso di bisogno!Tutto perfetto e ovviamente torneremo presot. Per noi e' stato un vero incredibile sogno quella terrazza che domina il mare!!!Grazie.
So glad we found this place. Small and friendly village, lovely house with beautiful views, I could sit on that terrace all day...and I did!
45 minutes to Pisa, 30 to Lucca, 1 hour to Florence and surrounded by great lesser known Tuscan towns, which are perfect for short visits and offer great places to eat and lovely shops.
I can't wait to go back next year.

This is the perfect place for people who want to be in a quiet location yet within easy distance of all amenities and beautiful Tuscan cities.
A short drive into Camaiore, a small, unspoilt Italian town where you can experience authentic Italian living and where you can find many restaurants and shops. In the summer the whole area comes alive with various festivals and activities for tourists and locals alike.
You'll take away with you wonderful memories and the unmissable sunsets from the terrace over the sea will certainly be amongst those.
Don't deny yourself the chance to experience this!
A really lovely family home, very comfortable and well equipped. The views are great and the terrace ideal for outdoor life. The area is close to great places to visit, particularly Lucca which is stunning. Other smaller places like Camaiore are totally non touristy and very laid back with real Italians going about their lives. We also managed to go to one of the practice days for the Palio in Siena which was simply unforgettable. Look it up, and get a seat in the stands.
We were lucky enough to able to meet the owners when we arrived, which was great as they explained all about the house, the area, and recommended places to go. They both speak impeccable English and are full of enthusiasm! Grazie Anna and Paolo!
Stayed for 2 weeks in this home with my wife and three teenage daughters. It is not a very modern home (older electronic equipement) but most of the time we sat at the great terrace outside. During our stay the fridge broke, but it was within a day replaced by a brand new one. That was good service.
The home is in the small village of Pedona. In the village is only 1 restaurant/supermarket. But it has internet and all stuff you need in your home!
To go to the nearest city you have to drive down for 5km to Camaiore. But you can find all the shops and restaurants you need.
If you want a home in a quiet enviroment with great view and nice terrace this is the place to be.
